Best Day Trip Out of Las Vegas

One of my favorite places to go when I’m trying to escape the city is not too far out of the city limit. Red Rock Canyon offers amazing day hikes with beautiful views of the city and great nature to immerse yourself in.

Another great day trip outside of city limits is Hoover Dam. The Dam that holds the mighty Colorado River and home of the best damn tour in the country. It is also a fun walk up to the interstate bridge where you will find breathtaking view of the damn and straddle the state line of Nevada and Arizona.

Something that not many travelers would know about Las Vegas

Something that you might not know about Las Vegas is that it is considered the ninth island of Hawaii. Hawaiians consider Las Vegas the ninth island because of the substantial Hawaiian population that now resides in Las Vegas.

So the next time you are looking for a fantastic place to spend a few days or a few weeks, then Vegas is the place to be. There is so much to do that you will never be able to fit it all in on one trip.
