Musée Lurçat
Angers, France, is home to Musée Lurçat, a collection of tapestries by French artist François Lurcat. Lurcat is best known for his 1960s tapestry series. The museum is a must-see for art lovers and history buffs alike. In addition to its enticing artwork, the Musée features the museum’s unique collection of tapestries.
The Museum of Jean-Lurcat is located in the former St. John’s Hospital, which has architecture dating back to the 12th century. The museum’s collections include a 17th-century apothecary and a hall for the sick. A famous tapestry on display is called the Song of the World. Angers is home to some of the world’s most beautiful tapestries.
Musée Lurcat also features contemporary tapestries inspired by the famous Apocalypse tapestry. A collection of tapestries spanning more than a century reveals a unique and modern interpretation of the ancient work. Jardin des Plantes

The imposing Chateau d’Angers is one of the best preserved medieval castles in France. It was constructed on a promontory overlooking the Maine river and has seventeen towers. The walls are three meters thick and rise to thirty-five or forty meters. There was a treasury that collected taxes from Angers citizens. The Chateau is a must-see for history buffs.
Galerie David d’Angers
The Galerie David d’Angers is located in the 13th century abbey Toussaint and houses the works of French sculpture David d’Angers (1788-1856). Dedicated to his hometown, he donated multiple pieces regularly to many local museums and art galleries. He sculpted famous monuments, portraits, and busts, as well as numerous bronze and metal works. The museum’s collection includes the esquisses, or busts, of several famous people.
In this gallery, d’Angers displays his most famous works, such as busts of French dignitaries and his preparatory work for the Pantheon in Paris. Busts of politicians and literary figures, as well as pieces by friends of David, are displayed on the mezzanine. Sculptures are displayed on a rotating basis. The smallest works are exhibited in the lower levels of the gallery.
Musée des Beaux-Arts

It is generally clubbed with other attractions, such as the Collegiale Saint-martin or the Natural History Museum. Located close to the ecole du genie on the rue Eble, the Musee du Genie Militaire in the city will provide you with a rich history of the French military. Maison d’Adam
