Fossils are sharply preserved and can be easily seen in their natural settings. The walk is suitable for families with young children, but is not recommended for anyone under the age of eight.
The Walk begins from a grassed picnic area near the Marine Rescue headquarters in Ulladulla Harbour and lasts approximately two hours. You’ll get a “hands-on” briefing session before the walk, which is a 500-metre guided stroll over flat rock platforms. This walk won the “Best Eco-Area” category in the 2016 South Coast Tourism Awards.
Warden Head Light
The Warden Head Light, also known as the Ulladulla Lighthouse, is situated on a promontory in Nueva Gales del Sur, Australia. The lighthouse was built in 1873 and relocated to Warden Head in 1879. This is one of only two wrought-iron plate towers in the state of New South Wales. It was later moved and converted to electricity in 1964. Today, the light is battery operated.
