Must do
There is no doubt you would need to do the island hopping tour there that would make you go snorkeling and a trip to Puka Beach. The island hopping tour will take an entire day and will include a stop to an island where you can do cliff jumping for as many times as you want. Even if you don’t know how to swim, it would be alright to jump from way up there.
Besides, you know you would want to get a lot of pictures taken from the opposite side of the island while you do it. Also, better remember to bring your GoPro especially when you snorkel and see a lot of fishes enjoying their lives. It is indeed a great feeling to see them do what they love doing each day. Speaking of fishes, one alternative way to observe them doing their thing is the Helmet Diving activity. It is a pretty solid experience to say the least.
What do you like best about your city?
The cool breeze as it is just a short walk away from the main beach. There are actually two beaches and both are stunningly beautiful. I could not have it any other way. There is even a mall called D’Mall where you can buy souvenirs about the island. There is a good reason why so many tourists visit Boracay each year. Also, the people here are pretty friendly which is the main reason why a lot of foreigners chose to live here. There is no shortage of things to do as it is like everyone knows each other.
Best Walk
Walk from Station 3 to Station 1 where you will land at Spider House. It is a nice restaurant that overlooks the beach and a lot of people go there to check out the sunset and sunrise. Better carry your slippers when you walk on the beach though especially when the sun has dawned. Along the way, you will encounter a lot of diving places and restaurants. There will also be a ton of vendors who will try and get you to do some activities like fly fish, jet ski, and sky diving. All activities are worth a try and the vendors will do their best to convince you during your long walk.
Best Restaurants
If you want some nice local food, there is Jeepney Stop. They serve nice sisig and halo halo which I highly recommend if it is pretty hot outside. For some comfort food, there is the Sunny Side Cafe as they have a nice selection of food conceptualized by their renowned chef. 4 seasons hotel also has their 4 cheese pizza which has become a staple for all those people who would want to visit the island. It is a dish that would appear in social media posts all the time because of how it tastes good. For the island’s best smoked ribs, there is always Smoke Restaurant. The restaurant is located in D Mall so it is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of shopping and swimming.
Best Music/Festival
Exit Bar has some nice reggae tunes at night. It is simply the best place to hang out if you want some nice music to listen to while enjoying cool cocktails from their awesome bartenders. Also, you can’t help but dance the night away while enjoying great conversations with new friends. Paraw Beach Club is another place with great music and it is beachfront so you can enjoy the breeze while having a lot of fun in the sun. Also, there are a lot of events that happen there and you can’t blame them for doing so since it is a nice event venue.
Best Nightlife
The Boracay Pub Crawl is something a lot of people would do from tourists to locals. You turn strangers into friends as you go bar hopping with a ton of new friends you meet along the way. After all, it is such way to spend your time there. Imagine meeting travelers from all walks of life and all ages too. There is no doubt they would have different reasons as to why they are at the island. It is normal to see people passed out by the beach. When that happens, you know that person had a great night. Paraw Beach Bar is another place that has some well-crafted cocktails. In fact, be sure to try the Boracay specialty cocktail. I tried it and I can still remember how good it is so I kept on ordering it whenever I am there which is quite often.
Best Day Trip Out of the City
There is a place in Boracay where you can do some ATV. If you want to go out of the beach for one day, that is the best activity that you can do. It is a great way to bond with friends. I had a great time driving the ATV even though I am not that familiar with driving it. Remember to observe all the safety guidelines when you decide to drive an ATV.
Something that not many travellers would know about There are two flights to go to Boracay. The first is via Kalibo and the second is via Caticlan. The first option would require you to take a 5 hour van ride and another boat ride before finally arriving in Boracay. The second would just take a boat ride. Understandably, the first one is cheaper so you would not need to worry about spending a lot when you first book the flight. Unfortunately, it is going to take a lot of time out from you because of the long van ride. If that is not something you would mind, then you can go ahead with the first option. If it is something you are alright with, you can go ahead with the Kalibo flight. On the other hand, the Caticlan flight may be more expensive but the difference is no that much
